Rome - Light influences

I did some photography in Rome. Because I love the Angel Bridge and the view from there on the San Pietro so much, I wanted to take some pictures over there... and some more... and some more... to study the light influences on the same architecture. When do you take the best pictures? Which light influence is the best? And I just love to put them all together and look at the differences and the atmosphere they each create.

Ik deed wat fotografie werk in Rome. Omdat ik zoveel van de Engelenbrug en het uitzicht van daaruit op de San Pietro hou, wou ik er heel graag foto's nemen... en nog wat... en nog wat... om de lichtinvloeden te bestuderen op dezelfde architectuur. Wanneer en onder welke lichtomstandigheden maak je de mooiste foto's? En ik hou er gewoon van om ze allemaal samen te brengen en zo de verschillende atmosferen te zien die elk met zich meebrengt.

A Bodypaint in Rome

I'm back from Rome and I loved it so much over there! The working experience was amazing, the people were very nice, and Rome is oh so beautiful!
I want to go back immediately!

One of the greatest things I did there was doing a bodypaint. My theme was Art, and I choose the art of Roy Lichtenstein. I like pop art styles and I think you can do a lot with it. It was such a great experience for me because this was my first bodypaint ever! (but not my last one!)

I'm going to Rome to work as an Makeup Artist in Teatro Greco, for 3 weeks. And my plane is already this saturday!

I'm so so exciting! =)

I dont know if I'll have internet over there but I definately will keep an dairy from the working days at Rome, and I'll keep you all up to date!

Photo Weekend

I had an Photography weekend this weekend. Saturday I went to Ghent to the fair to make photo's of a cute little boy of 6 years. And on Sunday I went with to Dadipark to shoot a bit over there again.
I went to Dadipark before, to make the pictures of Miss Earth Belgium and those came on an international calandar at the Filipines.

Ik had een fotografie weekend dit weekend. Zaterdag ben ik naar Gent gegaan om foto's te maken van een schattige jongetje van 6 jaar. En zondag ben ik terug naar Dadipark gegaan om daar nog wat te fotograferen. Ik ben eerder al eens naar Dadipark gaan fotograferen, om er de foto's van Miss Earth Belgium te maken en deze kwamen zelfs op een internationale kalender in de Filipijnen.

Spring is in the air!

Spring is in the air, sun is shining... and I am in a shopping spree! This week I bought some new nailpolishes, a lipgloss of the new Essence collection 'Marble Mania', 2 flowers as decoration for the house or for your hair or clothes, and e new purse! Yaaay... and now I still wanna have new dresses and a big purse for taking schoolstuff, my camera... =)

Lente is in aankomst, het zonnetje schijnt... en ik ben in een shopbui! Deze week kocht ik enkele nieuwe nagellakjes, een lipgloss van de nieuwe Essence collectie 'Marble Mania', 2 bloemen als decoratie voor het huis of voor in je haar of op je kleren, en een nieuwe handtas! Yaaay... en nu wil ik nog nieuwe kleedjes kopen en een grote handtas voor schoolspullen, mij fototoestel.... =)

I'm babysitting a cat & a dog!

I'm a babysitting a cute little kitten and a nice dog for more then a month now, and living in that house too. With my camera on the reach I loved to make a cute pictures of both of them... you know I have to experience with photography, isn't it. =P

Ik babysit op een schattige klein poesje en een leuke hond voor meer dan een maand nu, en woon dan ook in dat huis. Met mijn fototoestel in de aanslag wou ik dolgraag een leuke foto maken van beiden... ik moet toch ervaring opdoen in het fotograferen, niet. =P

Coming Soon : Max Factor!

As promised I'll do a review on the products of Max Factor. I work for Max Factor from the end of October now, and yesterday I finally found the time to do a huge makeup photography from all the products. Well not all of them, but the ones I got the most questions about.

Zoals beloofd ga ik een review doen over de producten van Max Factor. Ik al werk voor Max Factor vanaf het einde van oktober, en gisteren vond ik eindelijk de tijd om een immense makeup fotoshoot te doen van alle producten. Wel, niet al de producten, maar degene waar ik de meeste vragen over krijg.

A sneakpeak : This is the beautycase of Max Factor. Normally I don't got him at home, but for the 2 years of K Kortrijk I had to take it to the K and take it back to my home. Perfect to take good pictures of the products!

A sneakpeak : Dit is de makeup koffer van Max Factor. Normaal heb ik hem nooit thuis staan, maar voor het evenement 2 jaar K Kortrijk moest ik de koffer meenemen naar de K en daarna terug naar huis. Ideaal om op mijn gemak goeie foto's van de producten te kunnen nemen!
