I'm going to Rome to work as an Makeup Artist in Teatro Greco, for 3 weeks. And my plane is already this saturday!

I'm so so exciting! =)

I dont know if I'll have internet over there but I definately will keep an dairy from the working days at Rome, and I'll keep you all up to date!

Photo Weekend

I had an Photography weekend this weekend. Saturday I went to Ghent to the fair to make photo's of a cute little boy of 6 years. And on Sunday I went with to Dadipark to shoot a bit over there again.
I went to Dadipark before, to make the pictures of Miss Earth Belgium and those came on an international calandar at the Filipines.

Ik had een fotografie weekend dit weekend. Zaterdag ben ik naar Gent gegaan om foto's te maken van een schattige jongetje van 6 jaar. En zondag ben ik terug naar Dadipark gegaan om daar nog wat te fotograferen. Ik ben eerder al eens naar Dadipark gaan fotograferen, om er de foto's van Miss Earth Belgium te maken en deze kwamen zelfs op een internationale kalender in de Filipijnen.

Spring is in the air!

Spring is in the air, sun is shining... and I am in a shopping spree! This week I bought some new nailpolishes, a lipgloss of the new Essence collection 'Marble Mania', 2 flowers as decoration for the house or for your hair or clothes, and e new purse! Yaaay... and now I still wanna have new dresses and a big purse for taking schoolstuff, my camera... =)

Lente is in aankomst, het zonnetje schijnt... en ik ben in een shopbui! Deze week kocht ik enkele nieuwe nagellakjes, een lipgloss van de nieuwe Essence collectie 'Marble Mania', 2 bloemen als decoratie voor het huis of voor in je haar of op je kleren, en een nieuwe handtas! Yaaay... en nu wil ik nog nieuwe kleedjes kopen en een grote handtas voor schoolspullen, mij fototoestel.... =)

I'm babysitting a cat & a dog!

I'm a babysitting a cute little kitten and a nice dog for more then a month now, and living in that house too. With my camera on the reach I loved to make a cute pictures of both of them... you know I have to experience with photography, isn't it. =P

Ik babysit op een schattige klein poesje en een leuke hond voor meer dan een maand nu, en woon dan ook in dat huis. Met mijn fototoestel in de aanslag wou ik dolgraag een leuke foto maken van beiden... ik moet toch ervaring opdoen in het fotograferen, niet. =P

Coming Soon : Max Factor!

As promised I'll do a review on the products of Max Factor. I work for Max Factor from the end of October now, and yesterday I finally found the time to do a huge makeup photography from all the products. Well not all of them, but the ones I got the most questions about.

Zoals beloofd ga ik een review doen over de producten van Max Factor. Ik al werk voor Max Factor vanaf het einde van oktober, en gisteren vond ik eindelijk de tijd om een immense makeup fotoshoot te doen van alle producten. Wel, niet al de producten, maar degene waar ik de meeste vragen over krijg.

A sneakpeak : This is the beautycase of Max Factor. Normally I don't got him at home, but for the 2 years of K Kortrijk I had to take it to the K and take it back to my home. Perfect to take good pictures of the products!

A sneakpeak : Dit is de makeup koffer van Max Factor. Normaal heb ik hem nooit thuis staan, maar voor het evenement 2 jaar K Kortrijk moest ik de koffer meenemen naar de K en daarna terug naar huis. Ideaal om op mijn gemak goeie foto's van de producten te kunnen nemen!

Fashion Show at the Central Station of Antwerp

Last week there was an Fashion Show at the Central Station of Antwerp. It would have been so amazing to be there and see everything in real life. And what a location! Wauw! I love the Station of Antwerp, its so beautiful, so to have a fashion show on there is soooo amazing! The fashion show was to celebrate the 20th birthday of Verso.

Take a travel into your hometown!

We always want to travel as far as possible, but never see our own country as good as possible. So try to find the beauty of your hometown and see how nice it also can be.

A while ago I walked into my hometown, with my camera ready to shot. Here are some of the pictures I made... the beauty near my house.

We willen altijd zo ver mogelijk reizen, maar we zien nooit ons eigen land zo goed mogelijk. Dus probeer eens om de schoonheid van de stad waar je opgroeide te vinden en zie dat het ook heel mooi kan zijn.

Een tijdje geleden ging ik wandelen in mijn geboortedorp, met mijn camera in de aanslag. Hier zijn enkele van de foto's die ik gemaakt heb... de schoonheid nabij mijn huis.

A good morning start

Yay, Summer is coming, and I want to get ready for it!

I wanna eat more healthy and start my day with fruit. This weekend I tried the red grapefruit and I have to say, I thought I wouldn't like it, but the red grapefruit isn't bitter at all! *shock*
So from now on, I'll try to eat more grapefruit and whats better then to start the day with a good grapefruitpiece or glass? =)

Yay, de zomer komt eraan, en ik wil mij er helemaal klaar voor maken!

Ik wil gezonder gaan eten en mijn dag starten met fruit. Dit weekend probeerde ik de rode pompelmoes en ik moet zeggen, ik dacht dat ik dat helemaal niet graag ging eten, maa de rode pompelmoes is helemaal niet bitter!!! *shock*
Dus van nu af aan wil ik proberen om meer rode pompelmoezen te eten en wat is er nu beter dan de dag te beginnen met een goed stuk pompelmoes of een glas pompelmoessap? =)

#Womansweek : Dreaming Day

Because I saw it too late, and I dont have much time, I'll picked out my favorite topic of #Womansweek and write about it.

The topic I chose is ... Dreaming Day.... what did you expect from me! =P

Dreaming, its one of my favorite things to do, but what is now my biggest dream? I have a lot of dreams, realistic and less realistic dreams... lots of small dreams and some bigger dreams...
Lately I'm dreaming a lot of having my own house... I'm dreaming about how it will look like, and how the interior will be. I'm dreaming of the perfect sofa (it will be very hard to find it I think) in the perfect interior... feminine, dreamy, romantic and very stylish... White, pastelpink, and black.... And then maybe in my house a part of it will be a store... my own store!!!
I think this is my biggest dream of the moment.

Other dreams are of course traveling and seeing the whole world, Thailand, LA, Mexico, Peru, Argentinia, Costa Rica, Senegal...
And working as an makeup artist for television, movies or for a makeup brand like M.A.C. or for Chanel.

Dreams are worth living for and I want to make one big dream out of this/my world! =)

Omdat ik het te laat zag en ik weinig tijd heb, kies ik mijn favoriete topic van #wijvenweek.


De topic die ik gekozen heb is ... Droomdag ... wat had je anders van mij verwacht? =P


Dromen... het is één van mijn favoriete dingen om te doen, maar wat is nu mijn grootste droom? Ik heb zoveel dromen, realistische dromen en minder realistische dromen... heel veel kleine dromen en sommige grote dromen...
De laatste tijd droom ik heel vaak van een eigen huis... ik droom over hoe het eruit zal zien en hoe het interieur zal zijn. Ik droom van de perfecte sofa (het zal een moeilijke zoektocht worden om deze te vinden denk ik!) in het perfecte interieur... vrouwelijk, dromiger, romantisch... en heel stijlvol.... wit, pastelroze en zwart... en misschien wordt een stuk van mijn huis dan omgebouwd naar winkel... mijn eigen winkel!!!
Ik denk dat dit mijn grootste droom is momenteel.


Andere dromen zijn natuurlijk reizen en de hele wereld zien ... Thailand, LA, Mexico, Peru, Argentinië, Costa Rica, Senegal...
En werken als een makeup artist voor televisie, films, of voor een makeup merk als M.A.C. of Chanel.


Dromen zijn het waard om voor te leven en ik wil één grote droom maken van dit/mijn leven! =)

# Womansweek

I just found out about 'Womansweek' and I still want to take a part of it. You have to write every day about a theme and I think its such a great thing to do! I hope I'll can make it still, but I missed already half of the week. =( Maybe I can write them all down at once so I still could do them all?

Ik ontdekte net 'Wijvenweek' en wil nog graag deelnemen. Je moet iedere dag over een bepaald thema praten en ik denk echt dat het zo'n leuk initiatief is. Ik hoop dat ik het allemaal nog voor elkaar krijg, want ik heb al een halve week gemist. =( Misschien kan ik ze allemaal in één keer neerschrijven zodat ik ze toch allemaal gedaan heb?

Now its sleeping time, I need to get up early to start my day going to Ghent to make promotion for the new Grapefruit! Its a good start cause I want to eat more healthy from now on, although its very difficult to change my old habbits!

Nu is het slapenstijd, ik moet vroeg opstaan om mijn dag te starten in Gent. Ik moet promotie maken voor de nieuwe pompelmoes! Dit is een goede start want ik wil gezonder gaan eten van nu af aan, al is het heel moeilijk om mijn oude gewoontes te veranderen!

Childrens Makeup

I did the makeup of a Children photoshoot and it was very tuff, but very nice to do. Thalissa, Zhenna and Loïs had so much fun doing the photoshoot and it was so nice to do the makeup of those little girls. At the end they wanted to be big girls and got their own lipstick, cute isn't it?
